Eli: Mommy, today I accidentally pulled the fire alarm.
Carrie: What! (in a high pitch tone)
Eli: I accidentally pull the alarm, but the fireman didn't come. (Tears welling up in his eyelids)
Carrie: How did you pull the alarm?
Eli: I was walking down the hallway to the playground and I rubbing my hand on the wall and my fingers got stuck in the alarm and pulled it down.
Carrie: Eli, your father is not going to like this.
Eli: But it was an accident.
One hour later....I told Matt the story and he laughed and said, "I didn't even do that when I was a kid." Guess Eli is not in trouble.
