2009 Vacation @ the Omaha Zoo

Yes, I am known for always having my camera. Every good blogger is always ready to take a great picture to post. But to my dismay...my camera was fairly dead at the zoo today. I did manage to get a few shots of Eli. Yesterday, we had a great visit with the Nebraska crew in Seward. Today was zoo fun and tonight is the pool. Tomorrow we head back towards Iowa in an effort to make a few enjoyable steps and stretch our legs. I do have to tell a short story about a crabby Gorilla. This guy liked to make people jump. He would pound on his chest and jump at the glass. Eli and I were looking at him in a 1/2 circle glass area and then he pounded on the glass. I jumped, yelled and ran the HE*L out of there. I almost wet my pants! It was great and memorable.
