Baby Steps

We've been attempting to get E to be more independent lately. We'll today was a "baby step". He went to the restroom all by himself without announcing, "I've got to go poopy!" Before we knew it he came out all proud saying, "Mommy Daddy! When I was wiping my tushy I got poop on this finger." First off him wiping by himself is a good thing. Second to recognize that he had poop on his hand and washed it was a second achievement. He was so proud of himself I about fell out of the chair laughing at him.
